Lomi is a local desktop workspace for development projects on macOS, Linux, and Windows. Keep the tools for a task together in one window, then switch between named workspaces as your work changes.
Work with projects
Section titled “Work with projects”Open a project folder and organize its terminals, editor, files, browser previews, and other panels into tabs and split layouts. Workspaces stay separate, and terminals keep running in the background while you switch between them.
Lomi includes syntax-highlighted code editing, shared editor buffers, project search, and previews for Markdown, SVG, and image files. Its Git views let you stage and commit changes, sync, browse history, and review diffs.
Run and preview applications
Section titled “Run and preview applications”Use a browser panel to preview a local development server beside the terminal running it. Lomi can also show virtual Android phones in embedded panels; setting up Android support requires macOS with Apple Silicon.
Work with coding agents
Section titled “Work with coding agents”Run Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, or another command-line coding agent in a Lomi terminal. The CLI integrations are for macOS and Linux. Lomi’s MCP server can give a connected client approved control of workspace tools; this MCP control currently requires macOS with Apple Silicon.
See the setup guides for Claude Code and Codex, or read the Lomi MCP guides to learn about client setup and permissions.
Chat and customize
Section titled “Chat and customize”Chat AI uses your own provider API keys. Conversations stay in local history and can be exported. You can also choose light or dark appearance, import VS Code color themes, configure shortcuts, and extend Lomi with local plugins.
